WELCOME TO EPOD
Education through Podcasting (EPOD)'s second annual conference took place 26-27 June 2025, at Morley College London. The focus was: Between entertainment and education - balancing media industry expectations within educational contexts.
The conference was a huge success with over 25 papers presented, including guest speakers from The Radio Academy and Audio UK, and inspirational keynotes. Listen to The Radio Academy's great podcast to find out more about the event.

Our Sponsor a Seat initiative enables organisations or individuals to sponsor people at EPOD conferences by covering the registration costs for each seat, which is currently £105. The initiative aims to encourage attendees who may not otherwise be able to participate, such as students, early-career professionals, or underrepresented groups. Sponsorship will be mentioned in promotional materials and can be arranged through the conference organisers. This initiative enhances inclusivity, broadens audience diversity, and aligns sponsors with meaningful industry contributions.
EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY
All involved in the organisation of EPOD are committed to encouraging fairness, equality and diversity throughout our event, in terms of the organisational structure, the invited participants and in the encouragement of presenters and paper authors. We welcome anyone interested in the conference themes to engage with us and join us in building a sustainable conference that can represent all education through podcasting related interests.
